We believe we've identified the root causes behind the most common frustrations with established dating platforms like Tinder, Bumble, and others:
– A high number of men swiping indiscriminately
– A low number of matches for men, and an overwhelming number of low-quality matches for women
– Most matches lead nowhere and lack genuine connection
This creates disappointment and fatigue on both sides.
THEORETICAL SOLUTION
We apply economic principles — specifically the concept of an efficient market, where participants have access to enough information to make fair and meaningful choices.
We believe dating should work the same way — as an efficient market.
PRACTICAL SOLUTION
Instead of endless swiping and empty matches, we’re bringing the effectiveness of real-life encounters — like meeting someone at a bar (i.e. an efficient market) — into the online dating experience.
