We’re looking for a creative, flexible partner in business that’s willing to work as hard as needed to ensure Valet’s success as we grow. The CGO will be a full partner in Valet, with equity in the business and skin in the game, and we’re looking for someone who’ll take that opportunity and run with it. Valet is a small, early-stages startup, with all the ups and downs that come with that; you’ll be joining a fast-paced environment where you’ll need to wear a lot of different hats and adapt on-the-fly to get the job done. You’ll need to be comfortable working both independently and in concert with the founding team, and bold enough to bring new ideas to the table about how Valet can improve and grow.

What awaits you

The CGO will be primarily responsible for generating new business and consumer users of the Valet service, taking charge of the company’s growth strategies to help ensure Valet’s successful future. The role will involve both Marketing and Sales responsibilities – you’ll need to be as comfortable planning social media and advertising strategies to reach the public as you are talking to CEOs and business decision-makers. You won’t be working alone – you’ll be joining Valet’s existing team, both of whom have marketing and sales experience – but you’ll be leading the way forward in growing Valet into a global business. In terms of specific responsibilities, we’re looking for someone who can take charge in the following areas:
• Social Media and Brand-building
• Advertising
• Content & Email Marketing (working with the COO)
• PR & Press (working with the COO)
• B2B Sales

Coming with that is a full suite of organizational and productivity tools - from syncing emails and calendars, to spaces for notes and to-do lists, to secure document and password storage. Our mission is to become the go-to method for busy professionals and entrepreneurs to manage their personal and professional lives, and let extraordinary people do extraordinary things.

Challenges
Valet is an early-stage startup; we've soft-launched the product and it's live on app stores, but we still have plenty of challenges to face as we scale the business and grow. In particular, the key challenge we're facing at the moment is establishing our B2B side, providing enterprise-level subscriptions for entire employee bases.

Target group
Valet's target audience is primarily entrepreneurs, busy professionals and the businesses that employ them. We're looking for people for whom time is a precious resource, and can make use of every extra minute they save.
