What you bring to the team
Ideal candidate profile should bring:
- (the most important!) strong motivation and drive to create scalable product wth great customer experience in an agile manner fast + deep understanding what it takes to be a co-founder and readiness for such a commitment
- knowledge of how to build up IT architecture from 0 in a smart way (with cost and scalability in mind)
- working experience with HTTP APIs, Containers, Cloud, incl. fullstack experience with hyperscalers IaaS stack (Object Storage, Kubernetes, VMs, Networking)
- excellent software engineering skills in backend and ideally - mobile application, experience in multiple projects with ecosystems like Java, Python, Go, node.js/JS, React/React Native, Vue, etc. (either Java or Go, and either React/React Native/Angular)
- advanced knowledge of AI models like llama2, gpt4; libraries like pandas, pytorch; tools like jupyter notebooks; RAG set-up
- knowledge of API development to link to other services and databases
- knowledge of setting up right data structure (to allow debugging, KPI tracking, as well as gathering training data and customer insights for different analytics use cases later)
- ability to transfer customer needs / feedback and business requirements, combined with AI insights and approaches into pragmatic but user-centristic solutions
- ability to stay up-to-date and learn in the fast evolving universe of tools in the AI realm like langchain, llamaindex etc.
- (ideally) data science / ML experience, incl. introduction of deep learning models, good in setting up right data structure (to allow for different analytics use cases later)
- (ideally) experience as PO and/or agile teams management and/or tech startup
- (opt.) eye for good UX / customer-experience-oriented design in web and mobile apps
- (opt.) experience working with open source databases, e.g. digital product IDs
- (opt.) experience in e-commerce / search engines building or optimization
- (opt.) knowledge of data security and GDPR regulations
- (opt.) experience with image recognition models

Working mode: mainly remote, but it is important we can meet from time to time in-person in Frankfurt
Time commitment: ideally directly fulltime (and lets be realists, being a co-founder is no "9-to-5 job"!), but at least 20h/w. Latestly in 3 months a fulltime commitment is required.
If you are serious about building up a successful startup, full commitment and "having skin in the game" is a must-have.

What awaits you
Core responsibilities:
- Set-up of the overall IT architecture, backend and frontend development (esp. in the first months - hands-on coding yourself)
- Leveraging state-of-the-art AI methods and solutions available on the market (like RAG, agents, finetuning, embedding) as well as creation of new AI models to support AI-powered feature development (e.g. chat or digital try-on functionality)
- Make application available to end users and continuously extending its feature set
- Deriving requirements for new data and AI from customer feedback and our product roadmap
- Extending and refining the data as well as data quality management
- Hiring, coordination and lead of freelancers and later tech team

We are developing a completely new type of an apparel product discovery platform using the power of AI and ultra-customized search in looks.
We are searching for 2 further team members as potential co-founders:
1. (to join in May) tech talent with strong fullstack / app development and AI skills - with potential to become CTO
2. (to join in May-July) digital marketing expert with social media spike and love for styling / fashion and (gen)AI - with potential to become CMO
