The offering we have is great and our guides love us. Now we need to get the app to the market.

You should feel comfortable to figure out a Go To Market Strategy, test as many channels and target groups as possible and scale successfull operations.
You will own the whole customer facing marketing, while your co-founder will care for the plattform and content. There will be a lot of strategy discussions on eye level.

Really big upside to the business modell once the scaling starts.
More cities, more countries, more languages -> Scaling can be done in a lot of dimensions.
