Ideal Qualifications
- Proven Startup Leadership: Experience as a C-suite, MD, or senior leader in an early-stage tech startup, ideally in a SaaS or AI company, with a record of significant growth.
- Track Record in Commercial Deal-Making: Demonstrated success in securing and managing complex B2B deals, ideally within regulated sectors such as finance, insurance, healthcare, or legal.
- Strategic and Operational Expertise: Capable of driving growth while laying the foundation for sustainable success and a strong operational structure.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with regulated industries is essential. Experience with customer service or call center environments is highly desirable.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS, AI, and enterprise tech. Experience with data privacy, compliance, and security in regulated markets is a plus.

Das erwartet Dich
We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced strategic leader to drive Jack Burton’s strategic growth, drive commercial deals, and expand our presence in a competitive and evolving market. This role will involve shaping an early-stage business from the ground up, supported by a co-founder and expertise from the team at The49 Ventures. Joining Jack Burton during the close of our Seed Funding round, you will assume a pivotal leadership role with significant equity and a co-founder title.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Growth: Acquire new clients and expand partnerships with existing pilot partners. Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue and scale.
- Business Strategy & Vision: Define a roadmap that balances speed-to-market with strategic depth, ensuring category ownership in regulated industries while exploring broader applications.
- Ownership of P&L: Take full accountability for the company’s financial health, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability as Jack Burton scales.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead fundraising initiatives, maintaining relationships with investors and preparing for a Series A fundraise 18 to 24 months post-joining.
- Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across product, marketing, sales, and client success.
- Market and Competitor positioning: You would live and breathe industry trends and knowledge of competitors, adapting our strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
